Holiday Pen Pal Project
We cannot wait to hear back from our Pen Pals! The iWrite Youth Club enjoyed writing Holiday Pen Pal Letters to our friends at Ashford Elementary and we hear they were excited to read our letters to them and are working on their responses! Loved seeing their priceless expressions shared as they read those letters. Thank you Ms. Stewart for sharing these pictures.

The iWrite Youth Club has a meeting space!
Thank you all for your generosity – The iWrite Youth Club now has a space for the 2018-2019 school year.
Giving Tuesday Fundraising
The iWRITE Youth Club is made up hardworking middle to high school students who dedicate their time to giving back and becoming leaders. During the school year, the students host monthly meetings featuring professionals/creatives who inspire the members to plan projects that benefit the community.
We are in need of funds to help cover our 2019 meeting space costs. The members are from all around the city and meet after-school during the evening time.
Meeting costs at the United Way (9 meetings/year):
– After hours charge ($25/hr)
– Event liability insurance ($25 for up to 25 attendees)
– $100 deposit
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
On #GivingTuesday (also November 27th), Facebook is matching all donations! The funds will go to covering the costs of our meeting space. You can find the fundraiser at: https://www.facebook.com/donate/418478838689113/?fundraiser_source=external_url. You can donate at any time, but donations will only be matched on Tuesday.
